Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler, a Z-grade movie critic, is famous by her scathing appreciation of stupid action and horror movies. After earning some recognition through the channels that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) and began her review films in the latter half of 2009. Beginning in early 2015, she joined the channel when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel. Both focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The shows she appeared on Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax as well as some adult-oriented comedy. In 2009, after reviewing films her name was a hit in the forums of Channel Awesome. After becoming part of the official group that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. The actress was member of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also appear often on episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
